PRODUCTION DURATION | Study case

The Nicolas Hulot fondation contribute to a metamorphosis of our societies by changing individual and collective behaviors. This metamorphosis aims to ensure the preservation of the common natural heritage, the equitable sharing of resources, solidarity and respect for diversity in all its forms.

To achieve this :

- The Foundation relies on the most complete and objective scientific information possible concerning, in particular, the ecological state of our

- It is based on pedagogy to link knowledge and action to all audiences. It thus participates in the awareness of the interdependence between humans and the whole of life and the need to imagine common solutions.

- It participates in the public debate by proposing and carrying out solutions to implement to transform our societies and by being involved alongside the actors of change.

The Nicolas Hulot fondation need a 1 minute of a educative video to promote its action.
The definition of the video is: Simple and effective graphics, normal paced storytelling, computer assisted animation, with a voice over, sound design and original music.

Here is how the production takes place.

PRODUCTION DURATION

31 days + 7x + 3y

-

6 weeks + 7x + 3y

Before starting the production, we will define with their project manager the duration they will need to provide us a feedback after each delivery.
In this example, the Nicolas Hulot Fondation feedback duration = x
Number of additional days to respond to change requests (Unknown factor) = y

Here is the formula again:

Production duration of your video = The time we need to produce your video + The time we wait for your feedback (x).

If x = 1 day, then total production will take approximately 8 weeks, (2 months).
If x = 5 days, then total production will take approximately 13 weeks (4 months).

IMPORTANT NOTE : In case the Nicolas Hulot Foundation sends us are feedback later than the number of days originally planned, for example: 8 days instead of 5, we will change the entire production schedule and the delivery will take place 3 days after the date initially planned.
We are already operating in a tight flow. If they want to catch up the initial deadline, we will need to hire backup to speed up the production. For that, if your budget allows it, we will estimate an additional quote according to the specific context of the production.
